H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed attends "Zayed The Humanitarian Leader" Evening.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development attended the evening entitled "Zayed The Humanitarian Leader" held at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
The evening was sponsored by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, in collaboration with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre in Abu Dhabi along with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments on the occasion of the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, which is marked on the 19th day of Ramadan every year, in memory of the founder of the state, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who passed away on this day.
In his opening speech, Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, said that the event comes in recognition of Sheikh Zayed's accomplishments and is a reminder to generations of his noble values and cultural achievements and his stature nationally, regionally and globally.
He added that the event is a renewal of the oath of allegiance and loyalty to UAE's wise leadership represented by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and the Rulers of the Emirates.
