UAE ambassador to Amman meets UN resident coordinator

 The UAE Ambassador to Amman, Bilal Rabie bilal al Budoor, met here with the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Jordan, Edward Kallon.

The meeting touched on the projects and services to be carried out by the UN agencies and organisations for the Syrian refugees in Jordan, as well as coordinating efforts to support and finance plans regarding the Jordanian response to the Syrian crisis in 2015.

Kallon praised the efforts made by the UAE and its commitment towards the Syrian refugees in Jordan through a number of humanitarian and relief programmes, including the Emirati camp in Meraijib Al Fuhood and the Emirati field hospital in Al Mafraq province.

Al Budoor said under the directives of its wise leadership, the UAE will continue its initiatives to support the Syrian refugees in different countries.
