HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed mourns death of Prince Saud bin Faisal

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, has mourned the death of Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, former Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, who devoted his life for serving his country.

In a statement released, Sheikh Abdullah said that the late Prince Saud Al Faisal was one of the rare personalities who had positively contributed to the Arab and Islamic history since he was a statesman who was full of energy and has a far-sighted political vision as well as a wise man of an exceptional character.

Sheikh Abdullah added that for over four decades, he has been a security valve for political balances in the region, adding that he was the man of peace who had solved a number of political disputes which lasted for long years.

He added that Prince Saud Al-Faisal was not only a dedicated politician but also a highly intellectual instructor of his generation, man of peace, balanced and moderate-thinker.

He reiterated that he has learnt a lot from Al Faisal and his noble characteristics such as his modesty. At the end of the statement, he expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Prince Saud bin Faisal and the Saudi people, praying Almighty Allah to rest his soul in Paradise.
