UAE Ambassador meets officials of South Australia State

HE Dr. Obaid Al Hiri Salem Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to Australia, has met a number of Australian officials at the Department of State Development of the Government of South Australia as part of his official visits to the State to discuss topics of mutual interest.

Highlighting the strength and depth of bilateral ties, Al Ketbi said Australia has become an important strategic partner to the UAE over the recent years.

The UAE ambassador has also visited the Australia-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore with Australian businessmen investment and trade opportunities and ways to encourage businessmen in both countries to establish joint development projects.

Speaking during the meeting, Al Ketbi stressed the importance of joint strategic partnerships, specifically in food security and logistic services, inviting Australian companies to invest and co-operate with their UAE counterparts.

The Australian businessmen expressed their delight at the meeting, and thanked the ambassador for availing the opportunity to explore prospects of joint co-operation.
