The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to activate the integration of digital attestation for documents issued by the Department through the Abu Dhabi Government Services Platform “TAMM”, as part of the second phase of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme.

The MoU was signed by H.E. Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.

In this context, H.E. Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi affirmed that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department comes in line with the directives of the wise leadership and the strategic vision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aimed at enhancing government integration and developing comprehensive digital services centered on serving people first.

He noted that the Ministry has already initiated electronic linkage with the Judicial Department through the attestation of marriage contracts, and that the scope of this linkage will be expanded to include the attestation of all documents issued by the Department, contribute to the wellbeing of society and improve quality of life.

For his part, H.E. Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri explained that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs comes within the framework of the sustained efforts to support the digital transformation of government services, simplify procedures, and provide innovative services that meet the aspirations of the wise leadership and enhance Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness.

He stressed that enabling the attestation of marriage contracts through the “TAMM” platform represents a qualitative leap in improving procedural efficiency, ensuring faster processing and higher service quality.

The electronic integration between the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is part of the second phase of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which continues to establish a leading global model of government operations, one that delivers services that are more efficient, higher in quality, more effective, and with greater positive impact on society.

This integration enables the completion of marriage contract attestation procedures seamlessly through the “TAMM” platform, allowing customers to obtain three government transactions through a single step and unified digital channel.

The integrated service provides an instant, digitally attested copy of the marriage contract, attested by both the ADJD and MoFA, whether in the UAE or abroad, thus providing a fast and reliable service aligned with the highest international standards of efficiency and quality in digital government services.
