UAE President receives invitation to emergency GCC summit.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received a written message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inviting him to the emergency GCC summit in Makkah on May 30th.

The invitation was handed over to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as he received today at Al Bateen Palace Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, GCC Secretary-General.

Sheikh Mohamed and Al Zayani exchanged greetings over the Holy Month of Ramadan and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the Arab and Islamic nations with further prosperity and stability.

The meeting occasioned a review of a number of topics related to the joint Gulf action and the latest regional developments in addition to an array of issues of common interest.
