
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received on Thursday at Al Shati Palace General Wei Fenghe, State Councilor and National Defence Minister of the People’s Republic of China.
Sheikh Mohamed and General Fenghe discussed ties of friendship and cooperation, as well as ways to enhance them, particularly in military and defence fields.
They also reviewed current regional and international developments and exchanged views on them.
The Chinese Minister of National Defence praised the progressive strategic relations between the two countries and expressed keenness to develop them in a mutually beneficial way.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazroeui, Under-secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Ni Jian, Ambassador of China, and a number of Chinese military officials.
