Morocco supports UAE’s candidacy for membership of ACAC Executive Council.

Saeed Mohair Al Ketbi, Acting Charge d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Morocco, today met with Mohamed Sajid, Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Crafts and Social Economy of Morocco, in Rabat.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the bilateral co-operation between the UAE and Morocco.

Sajid praised the strength and development of their bilateral relations and the dynamism of their joint co-operation in various areas, including tourism, air transport and crafts.

He also expressed the hope that the coming period will witness further co-operation in these sectors, to achieve the aspirations of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of Morocco.

Al Ketbi informed Sajid about the UAE’s decision to apply for membership to the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Commission, ACAC, for the 2018-2020 period, which will take place during the meetings of the General Assembly in May 2018 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. He also expressed the hope that Morocco will support the UAE’s candidacy.

Sajid then affirmed Morocco’s support for the UAE’s candidacy, which it considers a duty based on their close relations while highlighting his desire to strengthen their co-operation and partnership in the areas of tourism, air transport and crafts, which will benefit both sides.

Al Ketbi thanked Sajid for supporting the UAE’s candidacy for membership of the ACAC Executive Council.
