Mattar Saif Sulaiman Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, has met with Imad N. Fakhoury, Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations, projects, programmes and joint plans aimed at developing Jordanian economy.
The minister expressed his thanks to the UAE, which is keen to support Jordan, especially in the infrastructure, water, tourism, industry, renewable energy projects, among others, especially that the UAE is a pioneer in the fields of planning and future visions, and establishment of projects according to modern standards.
The ambassador emphasised the UAE's keenness and the guidance of its wise leadership to provide all support, cooperation and exchange of experiences with Jordan, including supporting strategic and development projects that improve the Jordanian economy. He highlighted that UAE investments are the most prominent in the Jordanian arena, exceeding US$16 billion.
