President, VP and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed offer condolences on death of Uzbek President

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has offered his sincere condolences on the death of President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov.

Sheikh Khalifa expressed his condolences and sympathy to the government and the friendly people of Uzbekistan on the death of President Karimov. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to bestow patience and solace on the bereaved family of the deceased.

Dr. Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, the Minister of State, conveyed the condolences of the UAE President, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, on the death of President Karimov.

The funeral was also attended by Mohammed Hareb Al Mehairbi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
