His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met His Excellency Claver Gatete, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi, to discuss several topics of mutual interest.
H.E. Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan underlined with H.E. Gatete ways to enhance cooperation between the UAE and the UNECA, underscoring the country’s steadfast commitment to building bridges, fostering partnerships, and strengthening efforts to advance economic development and prosperity.
Furthermore, the two sides underscored ways to enhance cooperation and explore opportunities in infrastructure development in the continent, emphasizing the importance of international contribution to exceptional initiatives that support prosperity in Africa.
