Saeed Al-Hajeri emphasized the UAE's ongoing commitment to advancing economic integration within the BRICS framework. He highlighted the country's dedication to supporting joint efforts to address critical global challenges. All BRICS members participated in the meeting at the level of Sherpa and Sous Sherpa
The UAE joined BRICS as a full member in January 2024, marking a significant milestone in its international engagement strategy. This membership aligns with the UAE’s vision to enhance its role as a global trade hub and to contribute meaningfully to multilateral economic cooperation. For the UAE, BRICS represents a platform to deepen economic ties, support the development of sustainable projects, and engage in constructive dialogue on global economic governance.
