The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) provides Smart Attestations for academic certificates and documents, available on the Ministry’s website and smart application.
The service is part of MOFAIC’s e-transformation project aimed at providing services to the public around the clock. Graduates to avail academic attestations and follow up their applications online, without the need to visit MoFAIC customer happiness centers.
Graduates wishing to have their academic certificates or transcripts attested electronically must visit MoFAIC's official website, www.mofaic.gov.ae, or download the Ministry’s smart application, UAEMOFAIC, and follow relevant instructions listed under Individuals Services, and opt for delivery to have the authenticated certificate delivered by courier.
Fees can be paid via credit cards or e-dirham cards, and users will be directed to the delivery page to fill in the necessary information. Graduates are required to submit the original academic certificates and transcripts or a true copy authenticated by the certificate-issuing authority in the United Arab Emirates.
MoFAIC advises graduates to ensure all necessary attestations from relevant educational authorities are obtained before applying for the service.
