The Second Government Forum against Trafficking in Persons in the Middle East is starting tomorrow

Under the patronage of H.E Dr. Anwar Mohamed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking. The Second Government Forum against Trafficking in Persons in the Middle East is starting tomorrow. This year forum is headed\ hosted by the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of other countries in the region. As well as the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and major United Nations Specialized Agencies.
The forum is considered as an important platform to discuss all efforts placed by the countries in order to address efforts of combating human trafficking in the region. In addition, an optimal platform through which officials and experts meet to exchange experiences and opinions on this regard.
The second government forum, hosted by the UAE, through visual communication technology, aims to shed light on the challenges of combating human trafficking. It also aims to focus on the current challenges that the world is facing, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. This year's session also seeks to provide innovative solutions on protecting victims of human trafficking from all forms of exploitation as well as protecting them from other risks and challenges that the region may face.
