As part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ efforts to build an integrated and interconnected government ecosystem through a suite of innovative services focused on community needs and enhancing individual well-being, the Ministry—in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior— has launched its comprehensive digital attestation for the Clear Criminal Record Certificate issued by the Ministry of Interior.
This service offers a seamless, one-step government solution, enabling customers to obtain digital attestation from MOI, MoFA, and the UAE embassy in the country of destination, significantly reducing the service completion time from six days to just three minutes, compared to the previous processing time of three days within the UAE and three days abroad. Additionally, delivery fees have been eliminated.
This streamlined process ensures proactive, fast, and convenient access to the service through digital channels, centralizing the submission of certificate and attestation requests, as well as fee payment, within the MOI app and website.
