Abdullah bin Zayed Welcomes Ceasefire between India and Pakistan and Commends US efforts

His Highness commended the endeavors of US President Donald Trump and the two countries to reach this agreement. His Highness stressed his confidence in the wisdom of both countries to adhere to a permanent ceasefire, which will benefit both nations and the region.
His Highness underlined the strong historical ties between the UAE and the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. His Highness reaffirmed that diplomacy and dialogue remain the most effective means to build bridges of trust and establish lasting peace that fulfills the aspirations of both nations and peoples for stability, development and prosperity.
