
Ram Chandra Paudel, President of Nepal, received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the beginning of the UAE top diplomat's working visit to Kathmandu.
At the start of the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to President Ram Chandra Paudel, and his wishes of continued progress and prosperity for Nepal and its people.
In return, President Paudel conveyed his greetings to President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed and his best wishes of ongoing prosperity and success for the UAE and its people. He also affirmed his country’s aspiration to build advanced and flourishing relations with the Emirates across various sectors.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in several fields, including economic, commercial, investment, and developmental sectors. They also addressed several issues of mutual interest related to the bilateral relations between the two countries.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his appreciation for President Ram Chandra Paudel’s keenness to strengthen and advance cooperation with the UAE, commending the continuous development of bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability Affairs; and Abdullah bin Jarwan AlShamsi, UAE Ambassador to Nepal.
