Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Discusses Reinforcing Relations with Ministers and Officials from the Marshall Islands

Mr. Omar Shehadeh, Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Caribbean and Pacific States, visited the Republic of the Marshall Islands to meet several ministers and officials, aiming to enhance ties and advance bilateral cooperation across various fields.

During his visit to the Marshall Islands, Mr. Shehadeh met His Excellency Kalani Kaneko, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; His Excellency Bremity Lakjohn, Minister-In-Assistance to the President and Minister of the Environment; His Excellency Hilton Kendall, Minister of Transportation, Communication and Information Technology; His Excellency Jess Gasper Jr, Minister for Culture and Internal Affairs; and His Excellency Thomas Heine, Minister for Public Works, Infrastructure, and Utilities.

The high-level meetings discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them across several fields, including development, sustainability, clean energy, economy, and tourism.
