President confers Order of Independence on Thailand ambassador.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has bestowed the Order of Independence, First Class, on Komate Kamalanavin, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, in recognition of his efforts during his tenure in the country, which contributed to the development and strengthening of the friendly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Thailand across all fields.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presented the order to the ambassador at a ceremony held at the premises of the Ministry in the capital.

Sheikh Abdullah lauded the ambassador’s role in enhancing ties between the two countries, and wished him success in all his future assignments.

Kamalanavin expressed his appreciation of the wise policy being pursued by the UAE President and his prominent role at regional and international levels. He also thanked all state departments for their endeavours to promote bilateral cooperation and friendship between the UAE and Thailand.
