UAE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Security and Military Affairs Meets the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
H.E. Fares Mohammed Al Mazrouei, the UAE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Security and Military Affairs, received today at his office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international cooperation's headquarters the Special Envoy of Russian President for the Middle East and North Africa and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Michael Bogdanov.
During the meeting, they discussed developments of the region, with special emphasis on the developments of crises in Syria and Yemen. The two sides also discussed humanitarian efforts being made by the United Arab government in Syria and ways of enhancing bilateral security and military coordination.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Sharaf, the UAE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic and Trade, his Excellency Sultan Al Shamsi, the UAE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Development Affairs, and His Excellency Alexander Efimov, the Russian Ambassador to the UAE.
