Within the Year of Tolerance and the Cultural and Social Initiatives, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia H.E. Mohamed AlZaabi and Ms. Ahlam AlSalami, First Secretary to the Embassy opened an Arabic Corner in Khnko Aper Children's Library.
The opening ceremony was attended by RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Naira Khachaturyan, Head of Gulf Countries Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Department of Arabic Studies at YSU and representatives from “Matenadaran” and cultural figures.
The library was founded in 1933., it carries out cultural and educational activities.
