  • The UAE Embassy in Seoul recommends that all UAE citizens retain the passports as an official document.
    It is required that passports should be preserved and not be mortgaged for any purpose, and not be handed over to any person except for a responsible employee who are in charge of checking personal identification.


  • In the event that the passport is lost or stolen, it is necessary to inform the nearest police station about it immediately, and then go to the UAE Embassy to complete the necessary procedures, in preparation for issuing (a visitor's ticket).

  • According to the MOU signed between the UAE and the Republic of Korea in April 2016 regarding mutual exemption from pre-entry visas, UAE passport holders (diplomatic, private, official, service, ordinary passports) are allowed to enter the Republic of Korea without obtaining a pre-visa and stay in the Republic of Korea for 90 days.
