H.E. Jamal Abdullah Al Suwaidi has served as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Korea since 2026. He brings decades of professional experience, gained through a distinguished career spanning diplomatic service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE missions abroad, as well as senior leadership positions in government entities across the maritime transport and telecommunications sectors.
H.E. joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013 as Head of the Political and Media Content Section at the Office of H.H. the Minister of Foreign Affairs, a position he held until 2019. He subsequently served as Deputy Director of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2020 to 2021, contributing to the implementation of the Ministry's strategic objectives. In 2021, he was appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Singapore.
In recognition of his contributions to advancing economic and trade cooperation and strengthening the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Singapore, H.E. Al Suwaidi was awarded the Order of Zayed II by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The honor also recognized his pivotal role in deepening bilateral diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations and reinforcing the UAE's position as a regional hub for trade, investment, and innovation.
H.E. Jamal Abdullah Al Suwaidi holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Sharjah and a Master's degree from the National University of Singapore.
