H.E. Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi serves as the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Korea. His professional career spans a range of sectors, including investment, energy, water, and public administration.
His Excellency began his career at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), where he worked as a Senior Analyst specializing in the U.S. market from 1992 to 1997.
He then joined the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Sector Privatization Committee, serving from 1997 to 2011 as Project Director for Independent Water and Power Producers (IWPPs). During this period, he played a key role in the development and privatization of the UAE’s energy and water sectors. From 2011 to 2016, he served as Director General of the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA).
In recognition of his leadership and achievements, H.E. Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi has received several distinguished awards, including the Middle East and North Africa “Energy Personality of the Year” Award in 2014 and the Prime Minister’s Medal for Best Ambassador at the sixth edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award in 2022.
H.E. Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi holds several degrees from leading educational institutions in the United States of America.
