General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received H.E Fahad Mohammed bin Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Interior Minister received a written message from His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE, commending the distinguished security efforts undertaken by Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior, and expressed the UAE’s solidarity with Bahrain and full support for the measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability. It also praised the competence and professionalism of Bahrain’s security agencies in confronting terrorist plots.
The message further underscored the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries, particularly in security fields.
The Interior Minister expressed pride in the longstanding historical ties and close relations between the two countries and peoples, and the security, stability, and progress they continue to witness.
The meeting also reviewed areas of security cooperation and a number of topics aimed at further developing joint work between the two countries, in addition to discussing regional developments.
