The Embassy does not process visas for ordinary passports. For a tourist visa, please apply online through Etihad Airways or Emirates Airlines websites. Alternatively, you may contact a trusted travel agent to assist you with the visa application process.
To attest educational certificates:
1. Have the certificate certified by SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority).
2. Authenticate the certified document through DIRCO.
3. Submit the authenticated document along with the Certificate of Authentication from DIRCO to the Embassy for attestation.
Important Notes:
- Proof of payment must accompany the document submission.
- For courier submissions, ensure the courier has a copy of the proof of payment.
The cost for attestation is as follows:
- Ordinary documents: AED 150 per certificate.
- Commercial documents: AED 2000 per document.
Payment Methods:
- Pay via card at the Embassy upon submission.
For commercial documents, please send a scanned copy to the Embassy for a quote on the total attestation cost.
To attest birth, marriage, or death certificates for use in the UAE, please follow these steps:
1. Submit the original certificate to DIRCO for authentication.
2. Once authenticated, submit the Certificate of Authentication along with the document to the Embassy for attestation.
3. Include proof of payment when submitting.
Note: Documents cannot be attested without the DIRCO Certificate of Authentication.
To have your documents attested:
1. Ensure your documents are authenticated by the relevant foreign affairs department in the country of origin (e.g., DIRCO).
2. Submit the authenticated documents to the embassy. No appointment is necessary; the embassy accepts submissions and collections Monday to Friday.
3. Only hard copies (stamped and bound by Foreign Affairs) are accepted; soft copies cannot be attested.
