The UAE and Nigeria have sought to strengthen their strong cultural cooperation, which continues to see vibrant arts, culture, and tradition exchanges between countries.
In October 2019, the UAE Embassy in Abuja hosted a cultural and Arts Exhibition in Lagos state to showcase various UAE and Nigeria cultures through arts, dance, and music. Different UAE and Nigerian artists participated in this exhibition with the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, as the Special Guest of Honour.
In December 2020, to highlight the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in today's world and its prospects, the UAE Embassy in Abuja organized a webinar forum where key technology experts and government officials from relevant ministries across the UAE and Nigeria exchanged ideas on the development of AI, especially in the era of COVID-19.
Special guests in attendance included the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, H.E Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, the Nigeria Minister of Communication, H.E Isa Pantami, and the Minister of State for Science and Technology, H.E Mohammed Abdullahi.
