His Excellency, Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi was born on the 28 of June 1968. His Excellency holds a master's degree in Personnel and Human Resources Management from USA.
Prior to assuming the position of UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Nigeria on June 20, 2023, His Excellency held the position of Director General at the Presidential Court. Prior to that, His Excellency held the position of Director of the Strategic Communication Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Director of the Institutional Coordination and Government Communication Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His Excellency also participated in a number of committees, including: Emergency and Crisis Management Committee of the COVID 19 Pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the National and Reserve Service Committee.
