As a part of Towards the Next 50 initiatives and within the framework of women empowerment, the UAE Embassy Riga approached several Latvian entities inviting everyone to participate in the online course on stopping the spread of Covid-19 virus presented by Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. A total number of 104 participants from Latvia, with the majority of women, was reached. H.E Mrs Hanan Al Aleeli, the UAE Ambassador to Latvia personally thanked H.E. Mrs Ramona Petraviča, the Latvian Minister of Welfare and officials of Saldus City for their participation.
