His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation, held a meeting with His Excellency Alexey Russkikh, Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, held in St. Petersburg from 3 to 6 June 2026.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the economic and investment potential of the Ulyanovsk Region and discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the region in a number of sectors of mutual interest, including industry, agriculture, and transport, in a manner that contributes to strengthening economic relations and expanding the horizons of partnership between the two sides.
The meeting also addressed ways to encourage trade and investment exchange and explored promising opportunities that would enhance bilateral cooperation and achieve shared interests.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Meitha Al Saleh, Senior Economic and Commercial Affairs Specialist at the Mission, and Ms. Hamda Al Shayji, Senior Political Affairs Specialist at the Mission.
