The United Arab Emirates has maintained its position as the leading Arab destination for Russian tourists, welcoming approximately 2.4 million Russian visitors by the end of 2025.
Between 2022 and 2024, the UAE ranked as the second most visited destination worldwide for Russian travelers. At the same time, the number of Emirati visitors to Russia increased by 54 percent in 2024, reaching 67,000 travelers, the highest figure among the Gulf countries.
Air connectivity between the two countries remains robust, with approximately 325 scheduled flights operating weekly between the UAE and Russia, serving 25 destinations through Emirati and Russian carriers. Including charter flights, the total number of weekly flights reaches nearly 660.
Recent years have also witnessed a steady increase in the number of Emirati tourists visiting Russia, reflecting growing interest in the country as a travel destination and reinforcing expectations that Russia will continue to rise among the preferred international destinations for UAE travelers.
