His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint work within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries during a phone call. They also discussed their mutual commitment to further strengthening this partnership to serve their common interests.
The two leaders also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern and exchanged views on them. Foremost among these were the developments in the Middle East and the efforts being made to promote stability, security, and regional peace for the benefit of all the region's peoples and nations.
