His Excellency Mohamed Obaid Alqattam Alzaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Philippines, launched an initiative in collaboration with the Climate Change Commission and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources of the Philippines to plant the country’s national tree, "Narra" , in commemoration of the 51th anniversary of bilateral relations between the UAE and the Philippines.
Also present were Secretary Robert EA Borje, Vice Chairperson and Executive Director of the Climate Change Commission; Atty. Jonas R. Leones, Undersecretary, Policy, Planning and International Affairs of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (@DENR); and Usec. Joseph Francisco Ortega, Chairman of National Youth Commission.
