His Excellency Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, received His Excellency Fahad Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the UAE to the Lebanese Republic, at the Presidential Palace in Beirut.
H.E. Al Kaabi conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to H.E. President Aoun, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Lebanon and its people.
For his part, H.E. President Aoun conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with his wishes for further development and growth for the government and people of the UAE.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in Lebanon and the region and explored ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries across various fields.
H.E. President Aoun expressed his sincere appreciation for the UAE's decision to permit its nationals to travel to their second home, Lebanon, noting that the decision reflects the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two countries and underscores the strength of the longstanding historical bonds between their peoples.
For his part, H.E. Fahad Al Kaabi reaffirmed the UAE's continued commitment to strengthening cooperation and advancing bilateral relations in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries. His Excellency emphasized that the UAE will continue to support Lebanon's security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as all efforts aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of the Lebanese people for development and prosperity.
