  • Citizens of the United Arab Emirates are granted visa-free entry into the People's Republic of China, valid for a period of 30 days only.
  • Upon arrival in the People's Republic of China, every Emirati citizen should contact either the UAE Embassy in Beijing, the UAE Consulate General in Shanghai, the UAE Consulate General in Guangzhou, or the UAE Consulate General in Hong Kong. They should register in ‘Twajudi service offered through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website to provide their information and accommodation details. This registration ensures they can receive assistance in case of any emergency.
  • When traveling by taxi in China, citizens should request invoices upon reaching their destinations. These invoices contain the driver’s number and taxi plate number, allowing contact with the taxi company and driver in case of lost valuables.
  • The visa is valid for 30 days. Failure to legally extend the stay under the relevant authorities may result in a fine of 500 yuan per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10,000 yuan, or even imprisonment for 5 to 15 days.
  • The Dirham cannot be used in the People's Republic of China and must be exchanged for US dollars or euro before arrival in China.
