Mrs. Eman Alzeyoudi, Chargé d'Affairs at the UAE Embassy to Greece, participated in the preparatory forum for the International Book Fair Thessaloniki 2024, where Sharjah will be hosted as a guest of honour this year.
The forum was organized at the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, in the presence of an Emirati delegation headed by Mr. Ahmed Al Ameri, CEO of Sharjah Book Authority, Mr. Nikos Kokis, President of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, and a number of representatives of the Greek government.
In her speech, Mrs. Eman Alzeyoudi emphasized the pioneering role played by the UAE, especially the Emirate of Sharjah, in spreading community awareness of the importance of books and promoting the reading culture.
