Emirates Peace Center is one of the transformational projects within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFA) framework and competencies,which is supervised by H.E. Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar. The package of transformational projects translates national priorities, covers vital areas most closely related to society and the private sector, represents a qualitative addition to government work, has an impact on enhancing the UAE’s competitiveness and distinction in the region and the world, contributes to supporting the efforts aimed at moving to the future, and is characterized by its ambition and implement-ability.
The Emirates Peace Center serves as an electronic platform aimed at raising awareness of the significance of dispute resolving and peacemaking worldwide, highlighting the peace outcomes and working towards building partnerships to ensure sustainable peace in the areas of dispute, in addition to preparing strategic studies by an elite group of thinkers, researchers and specialists in the field, in cooperation with the Center's partners locally and internationally..
This initiative is an implementation of the Tenth Principle of UAE’s The Principles of the 50, which states, “Calling for peace, harmony, negotiations, and dialogue to resolve all disputes is the basis of the Emirates’ foreign policy. Striving with regional partners and global friends to establish regional and global peace and stability is a fundamental driver of our foreign policy.”

Objectives
· Aims to spread awareness of the importance of dispute resolution and peacemaking worldwide.
· Highlight the role of the UAE as a hub for peace and stability in the region and promote its international standing in global competitiveness.
· Promote the UAE's role in mediation and resolving regional and international disputes.
· Provide a scientific base and cumulative experiences from the lessons learned to raise the level of competencies in the field of mediation and dispute resolution.
· Be a reference for research and strategic studies on mediation, dispute resolution, and consolidation of peace
