The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Singapore reaffirmed the importance of intensifying communication and building bridges to explore promising opportunities between Southeast Asia and the Middle East through Singapore and the UAE, during the second Middle East–Asia Summit, held on 25 September 2025. The Summit was convened by the Embassy together with First Abu Dhabi Bank and the UAE–Singapore Business Council. The summit brought together senior decision-makers from government, finance and industry to discuss prospects for economic cooperation between the two regions and the emerging trends reshaping global capital flows.
The Embassy’s support for this Summit reflects the UAE’s broader strategic approach toward Asia and its commitment to building sustainable partnerships based on shared growth. H.E. Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador in Singapore, reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Asia, welcomed the Summit’s focus on sustainable finance and capital market development and highlighted Singapore’s standing as a trusted partner for both public and private sector entities in the UAE.
