About the Ambassador

HE Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, is appointed as the Ambassador of The United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Singapore in January 2021. Before this appointment, HE AlSuwaidi served as the Deputy Office Manager for the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, a position held since 2019. Prior to that position, HE AlSuwaidi served as the Head of the Political Content & Media Section at The Minister’s office from 2015. HE AlSuwaidi joined the Foreign Service and the diplomatic corps in the year 2013. Before joining the diplomatic field in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013, HE AlSuwaidi served in multiple fields including Maritime, CSR, and telecommunication in the UAE. HE holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Sharjah, is married, and has two daughters.
