His Excellency Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, delivered the opening address at the second edition of the Middle East - Asia Summit, which was convened by the Embassy together with First Abu Dhabi Bank and the UAE Singapore Business Council on 25 September 2025.
The Summit brought together senior government executives, financiers and business leaders to examine emerging trends in trade, capital flows and technology across Asia and the Middel East. The UAE Embassy in Singapore played a central role in the event, reflecting its broader diplomatic efforts to position the UAE as a long-term economic partner.
In his speech, he highlighted Singapore’s pivotal role as a stable hub for launching Emirati projects and partnerships in Asia, emphasizing that many UAE-related initiatives take shape in Singapore before expanding to wider regional markets.
