In collaboration with the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore, and the Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE), the UAE Embassy to Singapore hosted a symposium entitled “Reimagining the Future of Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI.” The event brought together leading voices in education to explore how artificial intelligence can transform learning—ethically with human connection at its core.
The symposium was attended by Ms. Liu Wei Li, Director-General of Education at Singapore’s Ministry of Education, as the guest of honor; His Excellency Jamal Abdullah Al Suwaidi, the UAE Ambassador; Professor Liu Woon Chia, Director of (NIE); His Excellency Sulaiman Al Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Professional Development at the Ministry of Education; and Dr. Mai Laith Al-Taie, Director General of (ECAE). The event included a rich academic dialogue, with experts from both the UAE and Singapore engaging in discussions on shared visions for the future of education and learning in light of developments in artificial intelligence.
