His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ambassador of the UAE to the Kingdom of Bahrain, participated in a virtual dialogue session entitled "The Mission of Zayed's Ambition" organized by the UAE embassy in Manama, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center and the National Space Science Authority in Bahrain, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King of Bahrain for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Hazza Al Mansoori, the first Emirati astronaut, and his colleague Sultan Al Niyadi, and more than 300 people.
His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan affirmed that the relations between the two countries are exceptional and distinct in all fields, as the two countries combine historical relations with roots for long decades, helped in their growth and development, the common principles and visions that unite them.
He pointed out that the wise leadership in the UAE has great ambition and confidence in the youth, especially in the field of space, and said in this regard: “The mission of Zayed's ambition” came to the International Space Station to crown determination and determination and a historic step that enhances the aspirations of the UAE’s promising leadership towards the future.
His Excellency affirmed that the UAE has a strategy in the field of space that extends for the next ten years, which confirms that its ambition has no limits. With this achievement, it fulfilled the dream of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, "may God rest his soul."
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in a speech during the session, affirmed that the achievements of the UAE are a pride for the Arab and Islamic nations, and that it opens up prospects for us and encourages our youth to delve into the field of space in general and take it with determination and determination, indicating that these accomplishments are considered as participation before The UAE is in the march of human progress by promoting space-related science and knowledge.
