His Excellency Hazza Al Qahtani, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Rwanda, received Her Excellency Dr. Farida Al Hosani, Deputy CEO of the Global Institute for Disease Elimination, along with her accompanying delegation.
His Excellency was briefed on the delegation’s week-long visit to the University of Global Health Equity in Butaro, Rwanda, where they are delivering a specialized training course on the elimination and eradication of infectious diseases. The program is being conducted in collaboration with the University of Global Health Equity and the Carter Center.
This visit comes as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance health cooperation between the UAE and Rwanda, and to support initiatives aimed at building the capacity of medical professionals in the country.
