On March 9, 2018, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Her Excellency Louise Mushikiwabo, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda, opened the UAE Embassy in Kigali.
The opening of the UAE Embassy headquarters in Kigali stems from the UAE's keenness to strengthen joint bilateral relations and develop aspects of cooperation with Rwanda in all fields.
This supported communication between the two friendly countries and peoples preserve the distinguished bilateral relations that bring them together, and enhance aspects of cooperation.
