The UAE Embassy in Kigali, in partnership with the Islamic Cultural Center, hosted the UAE Cultural Week to coincide with the celebrations of the UAE’s 54th National Day.
The program featured a photo exhibition highlighting the nation’s rich history, a cultural display screen presenting various aspects of Emirati culture, as well as engaging knowledge competitions that offered students an inspiring insight into the UAE’s heritage.
As part of the UAE Cultural Week and in celebration of the National Day, students and teachers had a unique opportunity to explore Emirati heritage through cultural showcases, knowledge competitions, and interactive educational activities, fostering stronger cultural exchange between the UAE and Rwanda.
During the closing ceremony of the UAE Cultural Week, Mr. Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chargé d’Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Kigali, emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural ties between the UAE and Rwanda, particularly as the UAE celebrates its National Day.
Awards were presented to top achievers and winners of the cultural competitions, recognizing their accomplishments and contribution to promoting Emirati culture among students.
