The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Brazil, Saleh Alsuwaidi, the second secretary, Saeed Alshehhi, and part of the embassy staff went to the Blood Bank in Brasilia to help the community and donate blood. There, the group was received by Dr. Alexandre Nonino, Executive Director of the Blood Bank.
After a tour of the institution, the team collected blood for donation. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, few people have been volunteering. With the Blood Center stock at a critical level, it is even more important to do good and share health.
