The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the UAE Consulate General in Lagos participated in organizing the “Investopia Africa” event in Lagos State, marking its first edition on the African continent.
The participation was attended by H.E. Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment; H.E. Salem Alshamsi, UAE Ambassador to Nigeria; and H.E. Salem Al Jaberi, UAE Consul General in Lagos, alongside H.E. Jumoke Oduwole, Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, and H.E. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State.
The event was also attended by members of the UAE Mission in Nigeria and a number of business leaders from both countries, where participants discussed opportunities to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and explored new prospects for partnership across various vital sectors.
