The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Singapore reaffirmed the importance of intensifying communication and building bridges to explore promising opportunities
His Excellency Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, delivered the opening address at the second edition of the Middle East - Asia Summit, which was convened by the Embassy together with First Abu Dhabi Bank and the UAE Singapore Business Council on 25 September 2025.
His Excellency Jamal Al-Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, met with Mr. Hussain Sultan Lootah, Acting Group CEO of ENOC, and Mr. Ahmed Alfalahi, Acting Managing Director of Supply, Trading, and Processing. The meeting focused on regional energy developments and explored avenues to expand the UAE’s presence and partnerships across Asia.
H.E. Jamal Al Suwaidi, delivered the keynote at the UAESBC’s Bi-Annual Talk, co-organised with Etisalat. He highlighted the UAE’s commitment to innovation-driven growth and future-ready partnerships.
The UAE Embassy’s visit to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) of Singapore featured discussions on a wide range of shared interests. The meeting highlighted best institutional practices in urban planning and sustainable development policies, while also facilitating the exchange of expertise on the Authority’s role in managing balanced urban growth and advancing modern infrastructure. The visit underscored the potential for deeper collaboration and knowledge sharing between both sides.
In line with the UAE Embassy commitment to community cooperation and humanitarian initiatives in Singapore, Mr. Mahmoud AlHashmi, Head of Political, Media and Public Diplomacy Afffairs, visited MINDS, where he learned about the organisation’s programmes supporting students with special needs and their families. Mr. Mahmoud commended MINDS’ vital role in empowerment and inclusion and expressed the Embassy’s readiness to deepen collaboration through joint initiatives that serve the community.
