The Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Houston has been serving in his role since February 2024, bringing with him a professional career spanning more than twenty years across diplomacy, institutional administration, financial management, and human resources — experience gained through a diverse trajectory in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked at several leading national institutions, including Emirates airline, Etisalat UAE (now e&) Telcom Company, and Government Sector, where he gained broad expertise.
He joined the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he held a number of leadership positions, such as Head of the Information and Reports in Humanitarian Sector, Support Services Division, and Deputy Director of Financial Resources Management at the Ministry's headquarters in Abu Dhabi, before being appointed Consul General of the UAE in Houston.
The Consul General holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Sciences, in addition to a number of specialized certificates and courses in diplomacy, artificial intelligence, and public administration.
Through his current role, he works to strengthen cooperation and strategic partnership between the UAE and the United States, develop economic, academic, and cultural ties in the state of Texas, and elevate the quality of consular services provided to UAE nationals and residents within the mission's area of jurisdiction.
