The Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in São Paulo is actively engaged in promoting the culture, history, and values of the UAE to Brazilian society through a range of educational and cultural initiatives.
Among these, the Consulate supports the publication and distribution of books in Portuguese about the UAE's history, its founding, and the vision of its leaders — making knowledge about the Emirates accessible to a Portuguese-speaking audience for the first time. These publications serve as reference materials for researchers, students, teachers, and the general public interested in the Arab world and in the UAE–Brazil bilateral relationship.
The Consulate also regularly carries out presentations, lectures, and cultural sessions at schools and universities across the State of São Paulo. These activities introduce Brazilian students and academics to the UAE's geography, culture, Islamic traditions, economic development model, and international role. The initiative aims to build awareness and mutual understanding between both societies, and has been well received at institutions of higher education in São Paulo, contributing to a growing interest in UAE studies and Arab-Brazilian cultural exchange.
The Consulate General remains committed to strengthening people-to-people ties between the UAE and Brazil through education and culture as a foundation for the broader bilateral partnership.
