His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, met with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit 2026 in Dubai.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in governmental, economic, technological, and investment fields, as well as Spain’s participation in the Summit.
His Highness emphasized the importance of the Summit as a global platform that brings together leaders and decision-makers to exchange expertise, explore the future of governments, and address global challenges. He also highlighted the UAE’s commitment to sharing its experience in government development while benefiting from leading international best practices.
For his part, Sánchez praised the UAE’s experience in building future-ready governments and commended the role of the Summit in fostering government innovation and strengthening international partnerships in support of global development and prosperity.
